Merry Christmas

Less than a week before Christmas, and yesterday I got to meet Santa! I was really brave and didn't even cry. Mom was really happy about that, cause she said she wasn't dressed to sit on Santa's lap and have HER picture taken too.

From the sounds of things though, this Santa guy is pretty important to have like you. I hear he gives out all sorts of gifts to good girls and boys. I am sure that I will be on the good list this year, as long as I keep my fits to a minimum!

The Wonderful Life of a 1 Year OLD!

Lots has happened since I wrote my last post, but I have been so busy with all my new things that I have barely had time to sit! Cause I am usually running around exploring.

Just in case you didn't know already, I AM ONE! Birthdays are really cool, everyone sits around and sings to you, and you get to eat CAKE! That was the yummiest thing ever! I got to have a really nice visit with two of my Grandma's for my birthday, AND I got to see my Aunties!
I am learning all sorts of new words, I say Ta Ta, even though Dad says thats a parent word :) and I say, Dada, Mama, PaPa, Hi, and I say Ba for ball. Even as a special treat the other day I grabed mom by the head and gave her a kiss without her even asking, she sure liked it.

Mom seems to be getting quite the belly these days, she keeps telling me theres a baby in there, but all I like is to pinch and spank her big belly. I wonder what she is talking about BABY? I thought I was the baby.

I would love to chat more, but Mom and I have TONS of laundry to get into, so I had better go so I can 'help'.

WHATS NEW?!?!?!

Hello!~

Ok, I know I said last time that it had been a long time, but NOW its been a long time!

So, incase you haven't heard I am so grown now! I have 7 teeth, I stand, crawl, clap, dance, wave, kiss, and today I took 7 steps without holding on to ANYTHING!

We have done all sorts of new fun things also, last week we went to the beach AND the PNE. I had alot of fun at both. I think my favorite was my trip to the beach, that sand is really neat.

Mom said now that I am so old I will have some responsibilities. My biggest responsibility soon will be to teach my baby brother or sister all the things I have learnt so far. I can't wait!

There is so much to catch up on, so I think I will just show you some of the pictures from the last few months!

Its been a while....

Has it not been too long?

I have been SO busy! I have so many exciting things I have been doing.

Between the Aquarium, my good friend Evie, and all the exciting things I have been learning its been really hard to keep up with this.

First things first, I HAVE TWO TEETH! All the better to BITE you with! And I will, its fun to figure out what is soft to bite and what is too hard, moms hand... soft, moms cell phone.... too hard.

Second, I can sit down if I have to. The other day mom put on my favorite show, Baby Einsteins, Baby Beethoven. And I watched it for a whole half hour without falling once.

I can almost crawl also, its alot of fun, I lay down, and go up on my hands and knees and rock back and forth. Sometimes I can even get some motion going that helps me bunny hop around. That way I can get where and WHAT I want.

A little while ago, I went to the aquarium with Evie and her Mom Kelsey. They are really nice, Evie and I even went SWIMMING (but another time, not at the AQUARIUM!!!!!) She taught me how to kick! At the aquarium we saw sharks, turtles, giant fish, turtles makin babies, red birds, snakes, spiders.... and the list goes on. There was a big group of us, from moms "mom site" There were so many of us that we couldn't stay all together.

I am off to bed, I am so tired from all my chewing, sitting and practicing to crawl!

But not tired enough to forget to mention that I am going to visit my grandma in Vernon! And all my Aunties! I haven't seen them in SUCH A LONG TIME, I was so tiny then, but I am much more fun, I had only just learned about TOES AND MOTORCYCLES back then!

I hope you liked that last post, I wrote it ALL by myself. Mom said it might be hard to understand, but I was determined to make a post that I wrote!

I have a new friend!! Her name is Evie! Mom and Evies mom are friends too, they have alot in common. Including having been in labour on the SAME DAY! That means Evie and I have the very same birthday! We went to the mall and had lunch. Evie is really friendly and very nice, I like her shoes more than anything. Plus she was wearing a tasty dress. Maybe next time I see her I will get to play more. I was pretty distracted by her shoes. They were SO cute! I can't wait until I get to see Evie again, she is fun!

I should also tell you about the other neat tricks I learned lately. One is my bathtub waterslide. All I have to do is lift up my head and feet and I slide down into the deep end of the tub. Mom pushes me back to the shallow end, and I get to do it all over again. My other neat trick is a bit of trouble. I learned how to roll over. But I really don't like it on my tummy once I get there. So I cry and mom comes to get me. (thats really the trick, to make mom come over to me)

I also play a neat game where I make mom let me wash my own face. If she wipes it I cry and cry, but if I get to wipe it I have fun, and laugh. I like to be crazy!

I have been having trouble sleeping lately because of my new teeth that are trying to come through, I just hope I can sleep more soon. So does mom!

My OWN Chair

I have my OWN chair now! Its great! It moves all sorts of ways, I can sit back, sit forward, sit high, and low! Its amazing. My whole family pitched in and got me the best chair ever! Its really cool. The first time I sat in it I just laughed and laughed, it was great! And the best part of all with this chair, is I get to eat in it! And I LOVE to eat! I am already over 18 lbs. Its almost time for me to get a big girl car seat! So I can watch Mommy and Daddy when they drive!

Hmm, I can't decide what to play with; my new swim suit, or my new chair.....BYE!
